Introducing the FIRST bi -girl party at Pride EVER! Let’s set the agenda for all things female-first and forward thinking.
Skirt Club Pride is our kind of celebration, sexy, cute, fun and sophisticated. You can B Proud within the walls of this private party and follow your hearts true desire.
LOCATION: Upstairs at Madame X 94 W Houston St, between Thompson St. & LaGuardia Pl. Arrive at 8pm. Carriages at 2am.

On this evening Skirt Club will donate to The New York City Anti-Violence Project, who works to end all forms of violence against LGBTQ and HIV-affected survivors of violence through free counseling services, legal representation and community organizing. They are the only organization in the country which reports on violence against LGBTQ and HIV affected people.
Speaking on behalf of her charity is Christina Peña, a NY member who is their Board of Immigration Appeals Representative.
Bisexual women are the most likely to have been raped by anyone, partner or not — 46.1% of them have experienced rape at some point, compared with 13.1% of lesbian women and 14.7% of straight women. And they are more likely to report that domestic violence had negatively impacted their lives — 57.4% of bisexual women who’d experienced violence said they also suffered aftereffects like missing work or having symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.
Most domestic violence against bisexual women appeared to be committed by male partners — 89.5% of bisexual participants who’d experienced such violence said the only perpetrators had been male. A study, conducted by the CDC in 2010, found that 35% of straight women had experienced rape, physical violence, or stalking by a partner at some point in their lives.

Penny Wren is best known as the “Perverted Pixie of Burlesque,” and a wide-eyed danger. Her first burlesque s
tage performance took place in September of 2011, though she has been dazzling New York audiences since 2007 as a modern dancer and choreographer. She is a regular performer with the renowned Wasabassco Burlesque and has danced for musical artists such as Bon Jovi, Robin Bacior, Vampire Weekend and Harold Haven. Her versatility and skill has been key in tailoring performances for clients like Ted Baker of London, The W Hotel and Jameson Irish Whiskey. Ms. Wren is a scintillating whirlwind whose antics are rife with narrative. She is altogether charming, kooky and seductive.
